The Project
About Cold Frequency
Cold Frequency was founded in 2024 by Steve Wallet as an outlet for Electronic Body Music and Post-Punk — two genres that share a common obsession with tension, control, and emotional intensity. The project sets out to create more than just music; it is an exercise in emotional storytelling through dark soundscapes and relentless rhythms.
The sound draws from the moody, atmospheric side of dark electro: coldwave minimalism, slow-building dread, and haunting synth textures layered beneath understated vocals. Every track is designed with a single purpose — to soundtrack the late night.
Based in Germany, Cold Frequency operates independently, driven entirely by a singular creative vision.
